Anybody familiar with these Sandknit tags?

Here's some tags from an Early 80's Celtics jersey? Anybody seen these exact tags before and are they really from early 80's?

The top tag is from the early to mid 70s, the bottom first appeared in 1983. A very odd combination if you get my drift.

Rich-after I shared this info-is claiming it's probably a rookie jersey! Any chance of that??

No chance all since his rookie season started in 1979 and these tags didn't show up until 1983.

I agree with jdr3. Didn't Grey Flannel sell a Indiana State Bird that was size 42? Size 42 to 46 in one season seems far-fetched.

46 is the correct size for Bird-I think he wore 44's too. Here's the thing. After I gave him the info. he says it's a rookie jersey now, it's now listed that way, and he raised the price more than a 1000.00! BUT, he's got a maravich celtics jersey listed too. TAGGING IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. That's the only year Bird and Pete played together-Bird's rookie year. I think the Maravich is tagged correctly for 79-80 but that's why I asked about the Bird tagging. It didn't look right. They should be tagged the same if it's really a Bird rookie jersey-which it isn't. Thanks for the info guys.

The bottom line is no one at Grey Flannel could authenticate a boil on their own rear, let alone the history of Sand Knit tagging. I would not trust them.
