Sorry to disappoint, but Majestic wash tags really denote a year. My suggestion is to research the jersey styles and manufacturers per year for your team. Also, the years in which the players in question played for that team. Patches on the jerseys are very helpful too. I did a similar exercise a couple of years back for Mets jerseys. From what I compiled, I can accurately pin specific jerseys to specific years. Also, there are quite a few collector resources out there that may be helpful to you.
