Re: Any winners in Grey Flannel?

I too was interested in a lot but the bidding got a bit ridiculous near the end. It was for 6 Mets bats, including a Dave Kingman, Darryl Strawberry, Hubie Brooks, Kevin McReynolds, Kevin Mitchell and Howard Johnson.

I was interested in ONLY the Mitchell and Johnson bats.

If anyone out there in GUU land won this and are considering parting with either of these 2 bats, please email me at TNT_Toys@yahoo.com

Well, I just checked my Spam folder and I received an invoice saying I win.

I guess they raise your max bid by 10%.

And here I was all day not to happy that I lost it.

      What an auction rookie.

I won the Johnny Damon Jersey.

That what I thought. I waited til 8:59 and bid. Then check at 9:13 and there wasnt' another bid. So I assumed I had won the auction. Woke up this morning to find out that I had been outbid. WTF?

My beautiful wife deleted it... it was just sitting there in the Deleted Folder... she has a habit of doing that... I should have checked there first...

I placed a ceiling bid in the afternoon. Got outbid on my initial bid. My ceiling bid went into affect. I went to bed at 11:00 still the high bidder. Woke up this morning and I lost. Oh, it was the Fred Taylor jersey. I have been looking for one for months. Oh well. Maybe next time.

If anybody got the Tampa Bay Devil Rays lot mentioned, I would be interested in a few of those jerseys.

As for what someone else was asking about that Carl Crawford jersey; The person who won it, put it back on the Bay and it sold with BIN/BO for $485.00, which I believe was $500.00 even with shipping. Check eBay completed listings...

I paid with Cashier's Check and received my item on 12/19/2007. That is 13 Days after the auctio close! Incredibly fast shipping. I have always been impressed with how Grey Flannel handles their auction proceedings.

BTW, I am thrilled to finally add an all original 1970s Astros Home "Shooting Star" with Zipper Front. Most have had names or numbers restored. Plus, it was of a decent player, and the first Astros to hit a Home Run into the Upper Deck.

                              Thanks,

                                Hello,
I was outbid on the pair of Del Crandall game used bats. I also was interested in the 2 Gorman Thomas game used bats. Also I was bidding on the lot that had 2 Ben Oglivie bats a Cecil Cooper and Wally joyner bats. I was wondering if anyone from this forum won any of these and would be willing to sell any of these bats. Please email me at jlschultz180@wi.rr.com
                                Thanks,
