Cardinals Cool Base Jerseys
Since I am currently serving overseas I did not have a chance to see any Cardinals games this year. Can someone tell me if they wore the Cool Base Jerseys for batting practice? If so, are they nice or cheaply made. Thanks.

Re: Cardinals Cool Base Jerseys
Cardinals BP jerseys are red and pretty much the same as the white Cool Base shirts. One big difference -- the birds on bat are not embroidered on red BP jerseys. It's a transfer that kind of has a felt feel to it. The NOB and numbers on back also are transfers, not sewn on. Personally, I think they're kinda cheap... preferred the previous style. Here's a link to a jersey that ended this evening on MLB.com: http://cardinals.auction.mlb.com/cgi...aunbr=89578155

Re: Cardinals Cool Base Jerseys
Although Cards jerseys are not my area of expertise, I have seen cool base jerseys and current BPs from other teams this past year... and one thing has been consistent -- where the BPs have cheap looking heat-pressed letters and numbers, the cool base game jerseys have had the sewn on tackle twill. I hope Majestic is not planning to go down the same road with the game jerseys that they did with the BPs.

Re: Cardinals Cool Base Jerseys
Thanks for the info. I do prefer sewn/embroidered items.
