Tay I am not sure if either orginzation started authenticating that far back. Especially for Baseballs.

MLB did - Steiner did not.

I'm still looking for a ball from Game 3 of that series with MLB authentication.

Do not quote me on this but as far as I know I think steiner has been authenticating dating back to either 2004 or maybe 2003.
