    Mark-
I have a green Portland Thunder from 1974. All original. Just curious-what's the current value of such a jersey? I've had it since I was a kid and have never seen another one in original conditon like this (the other one I saw had the NOB removed).

    Thanks.

Re: World Football League Jerseys Wanted

    Howard,

Memorializing our telephone discussions and emails last week regarding the Portland Storm lime green jersey (#47-T. Oberg):
    1. After exhaustively reviewing game photos (hope the photos I sent you came through clearly) and three game films of the Storm wearing the lime green jerseys, I could not find any verifying evidence that the Storm wore this particular style of number font or neck cut.
    2. The bottom tail tag (size tag) does not match any Sand Knit size tag of any game-worn WFL jersey I've ever seen (based on owning over 100 WFL jerseys over the past 32 years).
    3. Replica Storm jerseys were in existence back in the 1970s.
    4. Tom Oberg wore #47 for the Storm. Oberg was from Portland and played at Portland State, so perhaps that is the reason for a replica jersey.
    5. As discussed on the phone and email, I strongly believe that the jersey is nothing more than a replica.

Hope that you found this information to be useful.

Hoping that there are some game-worn WFL jerseys from the 1974/1975 season out there. Please help me complete my collection that I've been working on for the past 33 years!

    Thanks!

Interested in Steamer jerseys? If so, what are you willing to pay. They are original. My uncle was the head coach. I have jerseys, helmets, pants, gear bag, penants, programs, etc.
