MLB Hologram-Manny Ramirez Steiner jersey

I just purchased a Manny game used home 2007 jersey on the secondary market that was accompanied with a Steiner LOA which states the MLB hologram # on it. However, while the Steiner hologram is affixed to the jersey, the MLB hologram is missing. There is still a residue from the MLB hologram being attached to the jersey, but the hologram itself is not on the jersey.

Has anyone had an issue with the MLB hologram falling off jerseys? Or is this some kind of fast one that someone is trying to pull? Any insight would be appreciated.

I have 2 pair of pants in my collection that are both Steiner and MLB authenticated. I've actually only had problems with the Steiner hologram falling off on both pants. I have to keep replacing it back on the inner band. The MLB holo though stays on pretty good, though I'm sure if would peel off easily if I tried.
