NBA & MGG Authentication Tag, Front and Center

    Hi everybody,

Collectors will not have to worry about Pro-Cuts being passed off as NBA All-Star gamers anymore from unscrupulous sellers and uneducated authenticators/auction houses.

NBA & MGG Game-Worn Authentication Program security tagged every jersey worn in Sunday night's 2008 NBA All-Star Game at New Orleans.

Check out the front page of nba.com, where Lebron James is accepting the MVP Trophy from Commissioner David Stern.

There's the individually numbered security tag, directly under the usual jock tags.

Stay tuned for our announcement regarding the 2007-08 NBA & MGG Authentication Program and future NBA & MGG Auctions.

    Regards,
    Barry Meisel, MeiGray

That is a great shot of Lebron. Are the All Star game jerseys going to be up for auction then at some point soon? Those style jerseys were unique to say the least. I just watched a little bit, but looking up and watching a play and then when went down the court it was different color jerseys. I was was wondering what the heck was going. Neat idea for the jerseys with two total different styles from the front and back.

The back of the East jersey and the front of the West jersey were both white. There were times when everyone on the court looked to be in a white jersey.

Anybody going to go after these All Star gamers? Is this the first Meigray authenticated Kobe to be on the market?

Will be interesting to see if this one goes for more than LeBron.
