Walter Mails, early 20th century Pacific Coast League pitching star, had a pretty good but brief run in the majors. Ball is official PCL.

FYI - this is available for sale or trade.

    Hi

Thought i would show some of my minor league baseballs

Most are from the Iowa Three I league

    1) Is the Davenport Cubs in 1946 a very young Rube Walker

    2) Is the Davenport Cubs in 1947 with a retired great IvaI Goodman as coach who was in all star and played for Cinn in the 1939 and 1940 W.S.

    3) Is the Davenport Pirates in 1948 with retired coach Bill Burwell as coach. He had played for the Browns and Pirates in the 20's and also coach the Pirates Team as well

    4) Is the Davenport Pirates in 1949 with a coach of Morris Arnovich who played for the Phillies, Cinn 1940 W.S. and the NYG

Some of his more famous players a very young Vern Law and Bob Purkey

    5) The final ball is the Trois Rivers Royals (Brookyln Dodgers) coach Ed Head who pitched with the Dodgers in the 1940's

His most famous player is Billy Hunter who played for the Browns ,Yanks, A's and the Indians

    Hope you enjoy
