    Miguel Tejada "GU" bat knob

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=015

can anyone make heads or tails out of what the writing on the knob is?

also looks like a number 12 or possibly 17 is written.

wasnt he #4 with Oakland and #10 with Baltimore?

    thanks!

    Don,

I can't make out the writing either (could be Spanish). You are correct, Tejada was #4 with Oakland and #10 with Baltimore.

The number definately looks like a 12 or maybe a 17...

as far as the saying... "Dios" mean GOD...

I can't really make out what the rest of the other word is... and from what I can see, it isn't a word I know... not that my spanish is that great.

I know when I worked on the groundscrew for the cardinals spring training facility the young guys on the rookie level like the gcl with all the hispanics normally had a paragraph written on the knob like this one. He might have given a young guy one to use during spring training.
