Anyone else find this tacky?
Probably just me. Reznikoff "authenticated" it - and it says below his signatures that he is a NON-sports guy...OK...
At least the companies try to creatively display their fragments...

Hey, come on. He has the largest collection of celebrity hair in existence, so he must know about baseball bat fragments!

It originally came from the Highland Mint who has been doing this with bats & jerseys pieces for years now. While it's not my "cup of tea," I really don't consider it tacky since it obviously fits a niche in the hobby.

I saw one of those, stuck to my dog's...
If I'd realized it was a Ruth game bat, I wouldn't have run him thru the car wash.Greg

Re: Anyone else find this tacky?
I think the "tacky" part is sticking a fragment of bat (a tiny fragment) to a piece of cardboard with a dab of glue. The presentation is just not there...
So much more could be done to enhance it. Look at what some of the card companies have done with bat pieces over the years...
