Bonds 762 ball to be auctioned NOT MLB authenticated

So the story on Yahoo talks about Bonds final home run ball to date to be auctioned. I can't believe MLB didn't authenticate it. I know they had no idea what would be Bonds last home run ball. They still should have had someone assigned to at least autheticate every Bonds home run ball after breaking the record knowing each one could be his last.

that is crazy, luckily for him it happened in the day and age of multiple camera's and auction houses that know what they are doing
