Baseball Reference Sources

In researching items that I've either bought, or am thinking about buying, I find myself looking up players' histories, uniform numbers, etc, almost every day.

For the most up-to-date and complete player histories - including minor league, independent league, even foreign league stints - I've found nothing that comes close to The Baseball Cube site. Generally speaking, the only thing I've found that I can't go there for is Uniform Numbers, and for those I check out Baseball Almanac.

Has anyone found any better sources than those?
