2006 Detroit Tigers Tagging

From the 2006 Tigers jerseys that have entered the hobby directly from those purchased from the Tigers, an embroidered strip tag is usually found under the Majestic tag with the year/set/uniform # and Tigers inventory #.

The following 2006 Guillen "gamer" is being offrd by VA, but no tag:

Does anyone have a 2006 game worn Tigers road jersey that was purchased directly from the Tigers that's void of the usual stip tag?

Even the "Extra" jerseys I've seen from 2006 that are intended for call-ups, traded players, etc. have the strip tag in the tail.

Note how this '05 Tigers road gamer with Tigers paperwork features the traditional tagging as woud be expected on gamers:

Tigers game worn and issued gamers should all have tagging strips on them from the dozens I have seen and I own a home and road from 2006 as well with proper tagging......hmmm.....

I have a Tigers 2007 away Van Slyke spring training jersey bought from the Tigers. Even that one has the white strip tag under the label with the added notation," ST '07...". Jersey looks like the regular season edition.

All of the 2006 Tigers jerseys I have include the same tagging as pictured (I also have one of the shirt off the back jerseys that has a SB after the inventory number). I have checked out tons more at Comerica Park when they have the gamers for sale and every one I have ever seen has the tagging included.

Goes to show just what they will list on the auctions and what people still bid and buy despite the obvious omissions. I know I stayed away from them.
