A GREAT way to protect your jerseys for $2.57

I found a great way you can protect your game worn jerseys, and for only $2.57. I went to Walmart last night to see if they sell the same plastics that the cleaners use, when I found something even better. In the Arts & Crafts section, they have long thick plastic sheets for sale. The cheapest (and thinest) is 99 cent a yard and the thickest is $2.57 per yard. I got the thickest since the thinner ones wrinkly easily and the thicker ones don't seem to wrinkle at all. I bought only 1 yard. I wrapped it around one of my jerseys and used clear scotch tape to close it. Then I used more tape to close off the top and bottom. It looks great and no dust can get in.

I would be worried about moisture if it gets stored in a closet. I had some jerseys stored in those cleaner bags you talked about and ended up getting mold damage.

But you can't even see what jersey it is . My point was to find a way you can both protect and display a jersey

True.. it's certainly a good method & a great price.. I found a dry cleaners place that stocks some high quality clear suit style storage bags, the only problem was they were longer than the length of a regular jersey. I suppose they coule be altered, but it would ruin the zipper front..

    kyle....

Was Taveras involved in a riot while wearing that jersey?

Or did he get between David Ortiz and the post-game spread?

Are these bags both dust and moth proof? If so, can anyone on these boards sell one to me?
