    Re: April pick-ups

Not an earth-shattering purchase but I just picked up a vintage Boston Bruins heavy-weight bench jacket from the early 1970’s. Made by Sand-knit, the jacket is a size 48 and feels more like a sweater than a jacket. The front logo is loose but other than that, it is a very well made item in terrific condition.

This is my first bat purchase, as my collection focus is on Detroit Lions gamers (as you can see from my other pickups).

Just got this yesterday. I had been keeping an eye out for one of Javier Valentin's bats, and I was very pleased to get a rarer "Select Maple", and with a sig to boot! I had never seen one of these before, but I understand they were only made for part of 2004.

I just picked up this 2007 Moises Alou game used bat used during the early part of this 30 game hitting streak. Authenticated by Mets Steiner.

Interesting side story is that the tube the seller used had written on the cap "Alou 1st Bat Aug 24 Photo match" and was sent with this on it.

Fortunutely it was not sent vi UPS but USPS.

Jim - Its available for you!!!! I think he dumped the rest of the black Marucci's in the trashcan (lol) so I should get some more.

He switched yesterday to Rawlings and ditched those, and went back to black Max the whole game today and went 2-3 with a walk and SF w/ a RBI.

Those batting gloves are awesome too.
