For your further review...
In my opinion, this jersey is a mess. Here is what I can find wrong with it:
Wrong style Rawlings tag
Nameplate is cut wrong
Back font contains wrong font
Front Mets logo appears to be too skinny
Front number 8 too fat
Missing strip tag inside collar (removed because it possibly would denote either an extra or a wrong player number?)
Retail tagging "Adult 46" sewn into the jersey in a place where I have never seen before
Possible wrong size; I think Carter may have worn a smaller size at this point in his career
I am sure there are more flaws; I only looked it over for about 5 minutes.
I know a game used Carter jersey is a nice add to any collection, but I would bet the farm that this is not one.
