Canseco gamer on eBay

Can somebody help me out please.

There is a Jose Canseco Worth JC 5 WC115 GU Bat on eBay at this time. He states it as a rookie gamer. Can anyone direct what year its actually from?

According to boombats.com, the outlined Worth label is from 83 to 88(approx). Boombats is the only site I've found with Worth info on it.

Personally it doesn't look that game used at all. The seller describes it as having deep seam marks funny though the pictures are pretty close and clear and I can't see a one.

I am not a big Canseco bat collector but from the ones I have saw from others and including my own collection that doesn't look like his handwring "33" on the knob.

Thanks to both of you for sharing that information. The characteristics on the bat were a little fishy to me as well.

Hey guys,
That is my Canseco gamer on eBay. I purchased the bat a couple years ago from a guy in the Bay Area who claimed to have received the bat personally from Canseco at a game around the '87 seaason. There are about six well defined seam marks on the left side of the barrel that do not show up in the picture.
There is a forum member who apparantly worked for Worth during the '80s and '90s who claims that Canseco only ordered these finished Worths very early in his career. If you see this bat in person you'd have no doubt that this is in fact a legitimate Canseco gamer- any questions feel free to let me know.
