padres Khalil Greene uniform numbers help !!!

i just got san diego padres white GREENE jersey with #4 on it , i am wondering if he did worn #4 for short time then changed to #3 ???
the jersey is size 50 and made of base cool. It came from the padres baseball club .
is it possible they made mistake by putting #4 on Greene's jersey ??
any help would be great !!!

shane victorino wore #3 in 03 also. it is possible that greene wore #4 briefly or for the complete season of 03. ben johnson wore #4 in 05-06, while greene wore #3.

i wuld might think greene worn #4 during rookie 2003 season but the jersey is 2004-present style .........

The jersey is a 2006 Todd Greene. He was released by the Padres at the begining of spring training in 2006. I have seen a couple #4 Greene's (BP's Issued) at the Friarfest in the past.

Khalil Greene has always wore #3.
