Rudy - Using that Sporting News photo may have been a very early use of photomatching so Henry Thomas was certainly a pioneer.
I have had the opportunity to meet Henry Thomas a few times during games in 2005 and 2006 at Nationals games when I was introduced to him initially by Joe G. from the Forum "ICOLLECTDCSPORTS".
Henry is still a fan of the game!
Joe probably knows of this story and I will forward this to him.
