Pujols was still in HS... and didnt get drafted until 1999

My favorite thing about that seller is if you look at his other items for sale it is a bunch of sewing/upholstry/fabric equipment. That is an interesting mix of "hobbies".

In 1998, the Cardinals changed the logo on their jerseys with quite a bit of fanfare. The new birds were larger and the tails changed position relative to the bat (the left bird's tail went from in front of the bat to behind it... vice versa for the right bird). I have not seen photo proof the the team using any pre-1998 jerseys after 1998... and certainly not as late as 2001.

Here's a shot of Pujols in ST 2001 wearing a road #68 jersey. Note the logo on the shirt is correct for 2001, as opposed to the shirt on eBay which is incorrect.
