Keith Hernandez Jersey And The Blind Lady
I'd heard various rumors that Rawlings in 1984 employed a little old lady in professional MLB fabrication area, responsible for the placement of the Rawlings tags and also embroidery. This is the first jersey I've seen surface that may be attributed to her:

I was told her employment was terminated after a few short weeks based on the fact that her side-kick German Sheppard had a tough time trying to cut tackle twill.

UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you look close enough at the photos you can see German Shepard hairs....this only adds to the authenticity.

She must have sewn the lettering on the back also. She did not realize she used the wrong letters. Poor thing, they told her the box of thin letters used for the Hernandez jerseys were on the left and the box was actually to the right.

The same seller also has a very nice Scoreboard jersey... that classic 1990 Set 2 Tom Seaver with clean autograph. Funny thing is it's listed as "game worn" and comes with a hefty price tag of $1,200.00. Oh, and did I mention that Lou Lampson vouched for it as the real thing?
