Should the New York Daily News be believed here? What are your thoughts about Bagwell's denial? As a big Bagwell collector, I sure as heck hope it's not true. I'd be interested in reading your thoughts.

So many athletes who denied later admitted that a denial is almost the same as admission these days.

How sad that in today's society a denial is viewed as almost the same as an admission. Just being brought into a conversation about steroids (even by a guy who said he supplied Clemens, then later admitted he had never even spoken to Clemens, much less supplied anything...credibility issues?) and everyone immediately thinks you did it. That being said, I think Larry Dierker said it best (something along these lines) baseball had the dead ball era, the live ball era, the high mound era, and now we have the steroid era. These guys should not be kicked out of the game or exiled, but it should simply be viewed as playing in a different time and a different era.

This is old news...there has always been talk of bagwell and steroids......especially with his body breakdown at end of his career, shoulder problems, etc...
