June Pickups
I know it ain't june yet but its one day away. So i'll get it going alittle early. I just got this in the mail, a Alex Rodriguez game used bat from his rangers days. Shows good use, good pine tar around the brand. Not much mota stick on the handle but i have seen some of his bats with none. Only thing thats wrong with it, is there was some paint cipping and someone went other with a black marker.

Re: June Pickups
Picked up a base from the Astros home opener. Tejada hit a walk off homer to win the game. Lee, Berkman and Towles also homered.

Re: June Pickups
I actually got this helmet and a pair of gold football pants in April but was not able to track down what team may have wore these items until I received this email today:
Jim here is the answer I got: The helmet pictures indicate it is from the Bill Glassford era, and gold pants were worn in that era, also. I can't say for sure if these pix prove 1953, but it's a good guess. Glassford was here from 1949 through 1955. Johnny Bordogna or Andy Lohr (Lincoln guys) might be able to pin it down from their playing days. Best I can do.
