Can you identify this vintage bat?
It looks like a cherry colored finish, the only markings on the bat is "Professional Model" in gold lettering on the barrel, and a "3" stamped into the handle with no color. I placed it next to a modern Louisville Slugger for comparison. I have no scale, but this smaller vintage bat feels a fair amount heavier than the LS.
This was purchased at an antique mall in St. Louis, where both the Cardinals and Browns played long ago, so I thought there was at least a remote possibility this had seen the field of play.
Thanks!

Re: Can you identify this vintage bat?
Hi. I am not a bat expert, but this appears to be a common store model bat from c. 1950s. Not significantly valuable..about $20. Just my educated guess. Others on the board may know better.

Not much value there $5-$10. Anything generic and without significant age/unusual style that is under 34" isn't particularly collectible. Looks nice...yes...valuable...no.
