I was the under bidder on this. Don't have a lot of knowledge on McAulliffe's...did I chicken out on a steal?

Never know. While the sale price lends itself to the prospect that others believed it to be a real gamer, the photo is far away of the tagging and the seller from her answers did not appear to have a clue what she had. I bet she was stunned to get $800 for it...

That's some crafty reverse psychology! Not listing it in the "game used" category. Not using the keywords "game worn" or "game used". The "far-away" pictures of the tags. Pretty sneaky, sis! Just kidding...the seller didn't know what she had. Probaby got it at one of cjw's stores in Toronto.
Can anyone prove that that isn't a real fisk or a minor league shirt? How much do mid 70s Fisks go for? Yes, cjw...sorry, but it appears you missed out. Seller has a 70s Twins listed now...who wore #15 in the 70s for Minnesota. Relics can be found on the second hand market.

uh ohhhh.....look who DID win the auction though......"dolphinboy".

I wouldn't be surprised if that jersey reappears on eBay in 2 weeks from "dolphinboy" but relisted as a Derek Jeter game worn jersey. With the work he does, expect the unexpected!

There's a book out there called 'Now Batting, Number...' that lists uniform numbers ad nauseam for mlb teams. I don't have a copy of it, though.
