    A legit Manny bat?

I was wondering what the experts on the board think of this bat. I believe it's a good price, but the sellers rating is really low. Kinda seems too good to be true, but a good deal if it is legit.

I picked up a bat from that seller last week. It was great communication and he had the bat to me two days later. I don't know much about Manny bats but just wanted to share that with you about the seller.
Looking for: Joey Votto game used items.

I don't like the 24 on the knob it's not like anything I have come across of Manny's in the past 8 years in Boston

This bat was on ebay a few weeks ago:

I asked the seller for more pics and if anything was written on the knob, below is his response:

There aren't any numbers written on either side. Thanks for the interest.

Now the bat shows up on ebay under a different seller name and with a number written on the end. Looks like the same guy, notice how the bat is placed on his knee for pics. I would stay far away from this one.

Let's see...This could be one of many things. On his sheet there is large orders for C271 for Baseball misc. in 1999, Legacy Sports ordered 24 of them and the Boston Red Sox's ordered a total of 30 of them for him in 2002.

    So, it could be legit.

I agree with obpercent1 that the number on the knob does not look like the ones I have seen on Manny bats in the past. Just my 2 cents.
