Frank Quilici bat
I have a 1965-68 Louisville Slugger bat of Frank Quilici. It is a model R161. I am hoping to figure out when this bat was ordered as this bat has #17 is written on the knob. Depending on when this bat was ordered it was either used by Camilo Pascual in 1966, Jim Merritt in 1967, or Joe Grzenda in 1969.

Hi--
Check the word Powerized. If the letter "o" is an oblong or elongated shape rather than a circular shape, the bat was manufactured before 1967, or, given your time frame, in 1966. If the letter "o" is more rounded (normal), than the bat could have been manufactured any of those three yrear. The differences throughout the 1964 1/2 and 1972 labeling period are subtle at best.
