I don't think there was a special pen used for these balls? I do know that having them in Direct light or sun light is bad news over time.

This is a 92 Olympics poster I got signed by members of the USA baseball team when they came to St. Petersburg to play an exhibition game. Sigs include Jason Giambi, Jason Varitek, and Charles Johnson.
