Brian Giles 1995-98

I was wondering if I could get some info on LS bats used by Brian Giles during his time with the Cleveland Indians (1995-98). I own a Louisville Slugger Powerized C243 cupped-end Brian Giles signature model; under the signature is "Cleveland Indians". The cupped end of the barrel has "22 C243" written in black Sharpie (Giles was #22 with Cleveland), and the knob has "22 C243 34.5/31" on it. Problem is, I'm not really a bat collector and don't know where to begin looking for more conclusive evidence that this in fact a gamer.

Hi Nathan - unfortunately, Giles Louisville Slugger records are not available. From the info you have provided, it sounds as if the bat is a legitimate gamer - if you were interested in sending pics, I could further look at the piece and offer a further opinion. Thanks, Jim Caravello
