Tom Tupa Anyone
I need to find a game worn Tom Tupa jersey from any team. Please let me know if you have one you would like to sell. He played on a number of different teams.
Thanks,
Tim

Re: Tom Tupa Anyone
I just contacted tom in ohio, he now works for the park and rec in a small town, I asked him directly, and he did not have any in his possesion. I inquired about a Buccaneers one and he didn't haev one, sent him a jersey car to autographed and he signed it and sent it back right away...

Re: Tom Tupa Anyone
Jake, thanks for the story... I figured that finding one of his would actually not be that tough considering how long he has been in the league and the number of different teams he has been on. That is pretty funny though that he appears to not have kept any for himself (or maybe just did not have any left that he wanted to part with).

Re: Tom Tupa Anyone
Tupa retired after the 2004 season with the Redskins, a season where he had 103 punts for a whopping 44.1 yard average.... I wonder why he ended his career after that?

Re: Tom Tupa Anyone
Little known fact -- Tupa played for the Brecksville Bee's in high school -- they won the D-II Ohio state championship in I believe 1982. Tupa was a stud QB & punter on the team (they beat my school in the state championship).
He went on to play for Ohio State and actually began his NFL career as a QB. He is also a great trivia answer -- the first NFL player to score a two-point conversion!
I am not sure where he lives now, but Brecksville is in the Cleveland area. More info than requested in the GUU forum, but I could not resist the chance to brag on a former opponent whom I respect.
