Took a little idea from a member with the Wal Mart bookshelf idea. Just need to add a little more to it to for the final touches.

It's a simple an cheap way to display quite a few items together. Looks like you need a few more

                    Re: Jersey Display Cases

Jays1fan - I know this has taken much longer than I thought, but I did the rods, and here is a pic - I think it looks MUCH MUCH better!! The Aluminum (so they won't rust) rods, they are 2ft long and 1/8 inch thick. They definately make the jersey display wider, goes further down the sleeve. I did put masking tape over the ends of the rods so the rods won't tear through the jersey. I also added the hook on the side of the locker to hang hats or anything else.

Bigstig .. Looks Great ! I wish I had the room to do 4 of them.
I may have to go with building the Lockers like another guy did on here so I can make them 20 inches wide. I wish I could do the slat wall idea but it costs too much. I hate having 4 great jerseys and not being able to display them at the moment.

Never thought about using Ikea for frames. Completely forgot about them.

Metsfan - Were those Ikea frames easy to hang? I purchased a cheap version from Hobby Lobby once, and it was not the best quality.

I just framed them up with 2x4's and then used tongue and groove (pine) carsiding...just like the cieling. I think it ended up looking pretty cool. Easy to do and relatively inexpensive.
