CHEAP Bat Racks

A very inexpensive way to show off your collection of bats with minimal effort. Very easy. I purchase 2 coat/hat racks from AC Moore or Michaels, just about any craft store carries them. The ones pictured on my walls come with 5 pegs. Each rack is about $7.00 each sometimes you can get them on sale @ 30% off or more when they have specials. Then I purchase 12 shaker pegs at 39 cents each. Then I add a peg every 3 inches to the existing rack (6 pegs per rack - use existing pegs as a guide). You can glue the pegs in place after drilling the holes or put a screw in the back (that's what I did with some pre drilled holes). Stain, paint, or leave natural and you have a rack that holds 11 bats for under $25 bucks. Screw them into you wall ad your ready to go. I think they look cool. The example shown is a four peg rack but they come in 5 peg. Last pic is the shaker peg. Enjoy !
