yeah, that's a real beauty and has been featured at the website helmet hut for quite some time:

fwiw the ebay seller "garbagecoon" is one of the most honest, genuinely nice guys i have ever dealt with. further, he has a great eye for rare helmets and gets his hands on some of the nicest vintage lids i have ever seen - albeit usually not game worn by well known players.

I'm not a helmet collector, and know nothing about helmets, but that is one nice lid. I'm sure that any collector would love to add that piece to their shelf.

You guys beat me to the punch - helmets like this one don't come around too often and it will probably go for more money than I can afford.

Looks like some vintage items are starting to hit the market because a few weeks ago I picked up a 1957 Chicago Cardinals game used football. It's an old Bert Bell and without a doubt, one of the nicest footballs I have ever owned.

Not the kind of item I collect, and I'm sorry you considered my one expression of regret in the Montana thread, expressed tounge in cheek, as "whining".

If you meant this in jest, may I suggest adding a smiley face next time?

Yes, just ripping on ya Vandor.

Here's a smiley for every thousand that you might have flipped that Montana lid for...
