Cal Ripken Jr. game used helmet

Seller's been discussed here before. Ironmanfan, Howard Wolf, etc., any thoughts on this helmet?

I'll probably have to do some digging, but my initial thoughts were that '99 helmets had the ABC logo on the back and not the MLB logo

As noted, the 1999 Ripken gamer I own matches perfectly with the Getty Image dated from the same year. Note the ABC logo and placemet of the 8 above it and to the left.





Likewise, the shell size is a medium, as was the norm for Ripken. The helmet in question appears to be a larger shell, however, it may be the way the photo was taken.

The MLB sticker on the Orioles helmets were on the 2000 helmets. The helmet apparently was manufactured in 1998. It's wouldn't be a stretch that it was used in 2000.
