    Hi Ken--

From 4/28/77 through 2/7/83, every single order of bats from Tony "Doggie" Perez , with the exception of a single order, was for Model R43. All were 35 inches or 35 1/2 inches in length, and weighed between 32 ounces and 34 ounces. Most were Flame Treated, with an occasional order with Natural finish.

The single exception during that time frame was an order of Model M110 in 1977, 35 1/2 inches and 34 ounces, totaling 12 bats.

Perez was consistent in his use of R43 bats throughout his career. Other models he ordered prior to 1977 were S2 in 1960 and 1961, M110 in 1961, P99 in 1966, P114 in 1969 (made for him off of Adirondack Model and B278 in 1970 and 1971.

Over the course of his career, approximately 95% of his orders were for 35 inch and 35 !/2 inch Model R43 bats. A few other models not listed here were manufactured with Perez' name for various promotions, as well as R43 models in shorter lengths (34") for promotional events.

    Good Luck in future collecting.

    Mike
