Yankees '82 tagging?
Hey everyone.
I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on the tagging on the Goose Gossage 1982 Yankees jersey on ebay. It is not listed as game worn but is now at $615. Here is the tagging in question

Eric that is a good question!!!
The only thing I can say is the fonts on the back number look to be a little too thick, I have several jerseys from the 90's and the fonts are not that thick.
Now I know the 90's and the 80's are different eras, but the Yankees designs havent changed much at all as far as I know since at least the 70's.

There are two glaring issues with this jersey. There should not be a dash between the 82 and the 1 and secondly, the "2" in "82" is all wrong. It should have a cursive loop on the bottom. In addition to these two items, the Gossage doesn't look consistent with the lettering from this era. Jim

The script/font on the neck tag is pitiful.
