Re: Interesting Mantle Autographs
I am sorry the balls are cool for novelty purposees but the prices are excuse my french F$%^ RETARDED. You can pick up a Autographed Mantle ball on ebay for around $400 - $800 depending on the condition. This guy is ofering them for $8000 IS HE NUTS AND WHAT IS HE SMOKING CUZ I WANT SOME.
NOT ONLY THAT I LOOKED AT HIS SITE HIS PRICES DONT END THERE!!!
Elliot Maddox autographed photo $60 - Elliot is at most shows for free or 5 bucks
Bats and Photos of Yankees who are barely name to at most semi stars and hes charging in the $3000 range.
What is this guy thinking????????????????

Re: Interesting Mantle Autographs
I could be mistaken, but I thought a similar autographed mantle ball sold several years ago. It read "I slept with Marilyn Monroe - Mickey Mantle". I had heard he signed it as a jab at Joe D.
I think it brought tons more than what this guy is asking!! I tried finding the old auction listing, but don't have it anymore.

both-teams-played-hard- I understand what you're saying. But if I were going to forge celebrites names it wouldn't be the famous players. The example of Johnson's signature here is bad. His signature doesn't vary-check your yearbook.
(PS:I know two people who sort of make a living off of forging non-high profile celebrites-they feel exactly like you stated, any objections is laughable).
