OT -- Are the Sox gonna do it tonight?

    Momentum, anyone?

The Red Sox are sending John Lester to the mound (16-6 this season, 3-1 against the Rays), and the Rays are going with Matt Garza (11-9, 2-1 against the Sox).

As a side note, I'm hearing lots of baseball fans who despise the TBS broadcast coverage.

I have to go with the Red Sox to win this one!

I hope not. I have a bacon cheeseburger basket riding on the Rays. I work with a friend of Beckett's, and thus a big Sox fan, so I made the bet not really caring who won. Before that big comeback Thursday night my jaws were actually watering for a cheeseburger on Friday. Monday I will have a cheeseburger, who pays for it is yet to be seen

I hope not. As a life long Yankee fan, my world series is the Red Sox not making the World Series.

From a non-Yankee fan prospective it's a win-win situation. Either team making it into the WS both from the AL East while Jeter is at the driving range and Joba is driving drunk is fine with me

While the Sox may have the momentum the Rays will have the home field advantage.

no offense but i hope they dont do it as well. nothing makes me happier than going to see my rangers play and being surrounded by a bunch of idiots cheering for the red sox who have probably never been to boston much less fenway park. same can be said for the yankee fans as well.

Congrats to the Rays and their fanbase.

    What an accomplishment!

It gives all of the rest of the smaller market teams some hope for the future.
