Thank you for the reply. I've seen Reid's for sale list, however I only recall seeing items from late in his career for purchase, Red Sox and Independant League items for instance. If he does collect jerseys from earlier in his career, as do I, he probably wisely chooses to hold onto them. Thanks again.

Thanks for the reply. Is that the nice one with the autograph going up the chest area? If so, that's a real nice piece. It was in the Leland's auction awhile back I think? I was looking for a #24 however for my collection which may finally come around. I'm also trying to locate a jersey from 1981 and 1984. Thanks again for your help.

no offense to the seller, but there's always a 1991 home henderson "set 1" jersey on ebay. i have an entire photo folder just dedicated to all of the 1991 home henderson set 1 jerseys i've seen.

and without referring to any particular jersey, the thing that always gets me is the "light use". henderson was a maniac out there. he was a head-first slider and stole 58 bases in '91 while playing in 134 games and an outfielder to boot.

Just to add to your post about 1991 Henderson jersey's, I would be skeptical of any A's 1991 jersey of a star player. From talking with a fellow collector I've learned that there are a bunch of Mark McGwire Set 1 1991 flag tag jerseys that were ordered and signed and given out as a promotion through some kind of agent/deal from back then. There is a Mark McGwire 1991 jersey currently on EBAY being sold as a game used jersey. I have no idea if it made it into a game or not, but with that information alone that I collected after questioning a seller of a 1991 MAC jersey he informed me that he had heard that there was quite a few that were signed and tagged that were out there for a promo kind of thing. Maybe it was the same for Ricky. Who knows but I wanted to share this info so people could make an informed decision. Again, I have no opinions on any of the above named jerseys' authenticity, but if that in mind, it would make me think twice. Not all sellers are as educated and may not know about GUU. They may have been duped by others and think its legit but that why doing homework and investigating is important. Make an informed decision....kind of like voting.
