I have found a solution to help my mom after all... I will be keeping my BH helmet in my PC... Good thing I figured it out before I sold it and would have definitely regretted it big time... I absolutely love this thing... Thanks all for the comments and support...

I'd love to know the answer to that as well? I have a Jake Long game used helmet that came from the Dolphins with a COA, from 2008...it has a metallic white paint job, but it's not nearly as metallic, or glittery as that Hartline helmet. I only own one Dolphins helmet, so I can't really compare year for year...but I will tell you that my 2008 helmet isn't as dense with metallic flakes.

Is your helmet a Riddell? I'm pretty sure 2008 they had ultra flake. It just may look different because its not a Schutt like the Hartline.

My Cameron Wake helmet is from 2010 and has the Heavy Silver metallic flecks in it. The helmet has J.O. Sports paperwork and is a Riddell Revolution helmet.

I do know that the Heavy metallic paints have come around because of High definition tv. The heavier paint look better on television now. I have a 2010 Clay Matthews Packers helmet that has a heavy coat of Metal flake in it also.
