Any cleat experts out there?
I am wondering if any of you are "experts" on older cleats? I am trying to date these cleats as to when this style was introduced? Any help would be appreciatted - Thanks!!

Re: Any cleat experts out there?
I can't tell you when those Spot Built cleats were introduced, but I can tell you I own the exact same Buckner cleats and have seen MANY photos from 1977 - 1980 with Buckner wearing those. I would just like to know who Williams is.

Re: Any cleat experts out there?
My spikes are slightly different than yours. Each have been signed on both sides of the tongue and have Buckner's number 22 written on the inside. Your spikes match the action photo below.
I guess Billy Williams could have worn the spikes, but a photo would sure help.Mike
