Question: Arod Bats

Does Anyone Know If Arod Used To Put His Number On The Top Or Bottom Of His Bat While He Played For The Texas Rangers? I've Seen Alot Of Arod Rangers Bats Going Around With No Number Anywhere On The Bat.thanks All.

I have 6 of his Ranger bats and none of them have numbers. They all have silver dots in the cup though. He gave them to me because he felt they were all too heavy or light even though he broke three of them.

I Bought An Arod Bat Recently And There Is No Number On Either Side Of The Bat. It Is A 125 Louisville Slugger-genuine R205 Alex Rodriguez Texas Rangers.no Silver Dot Though.any Thoughts?

WOW... you have no idea, how happy this post makes me. I finally just got my Arod rangers bat, i have been wanting one for a long time and the first thing i noticed was the silver dot, this has bothered me so much, i wanted to post today at work but never got a chance. It is not signed so i couldnt figure out how in the world a silver dot got there. So can you fill me in on more details? Does he mark all of theml this way, or ones he felt were too heavy?

My Bat Is Not Cupped At The End,nor Does It Have The Silver Dot.i Bought It From A Very Reputable Dealer So I Don't Doubt Thats Its No 100% Genuine.

I honestly don't know the significance of the silver dot. I never spoke to him about it and he never mentioned a problem. The EM came up to me as I was leaving and said Arod wanted these bats replaced.
