interesting choice of auction house...

as i've mentioned before, i know zero about jerseys but that thing looks pretty darn nice. looking at the many luckman photos in circulation one thing becomes very clear - luckman wore quite a few different types of dark jerseys during his 12 year career with the bears. this is especially evident when looking at the various styles of jersey numbering he sported as well as jersey neck styles...

speaking of luckman, i came across this interesting 1942 team photo of the bears - it appears that luckman missed the shoot and was later superimposed...
