Grey Flannel - Barry Bonds 1992 All-Star Game Used bat
http://www.greyflannelauctions.com/L...px?lotid=18930
i just watched the 1992 All-Star Game, including all 3 of bonds' at-bats. here's how they broke down:
1st inning - blonde Cooper
3rd inning - blonde Cooper, knobless. appeared to have a handle taped with white tape
6th inning - blonde Louisville Slugger
here's bonds, in either the 1st or 3rd, using the Cooper:
bonds only had 3 ABs in the entire game and in none of them did he use a Rawlings bat.
the GFC description reads "black ball transfer marks on the back barrel". the 1992 All-Star Game baseballs had blue ink:

i believe the Cooper bat he used in the 1st inning and 3rd inning were the same bat. so..two different bats: the Cooper and the LVS.

Re: Grey Flannel - Barry Bonds 1992 All-Star Game Used bat
Reason I ask is because if he was using several different models for the All Star Game, could the one on Grey Flannel be one that was issued for the All Star Game, but used in a regular season game. In the auction description, it doesn't say that is was actually used in the All Star Game.

sure, it's possible. however, the title of the lot is:
"1992 Barry Bonds All-Star Game Game-Used & Autographed Bat"
it would be very easy for most buyers to infer that he used the bat in the 1992 All-Star Game and pay a significant premium due to the All-Star Game usage. to be perfectly clear to any bidders, GFC should specify in the ad that the bat wasn't used in the All-Star Game.
