For sale -- a game worn Jose Valentin white home alternate Mets jersey that was worn on field in games during spring training '07. Was amongst the earliest jerseys Jose wore during 2007 (possibly the first), seen by the set of the jersey (E). A set E jersey (standing for "extra") was given to Jose due to a late number change (he was #18 in 2006 but changed to #22 for 2007 with the addition of Moises Alou to the club). The number change necessitated the club to change several of their extra team jerseys into Jose Valentin jerseys. Comes with a Steiner Letter of Authenticity as well as MLB Authentication. A sharp jersey of the Puerto Rican National and former Mets second baseman. Asking $175 or best offer.
