Mets Jerseys for sale - mostly 1980s

Looking to shed another few Mets jerseys from the collection in order to pay off a large car repair...


1. 1985 VERN HOSCHEIT Gray road jersey #51. Hoschheit is a 4X World Champion, having been a coach on the 1972-1973-1974 Oakland Athletics and the 1986 Mets. This jersey is a set 1, 1985, and appears to be unaltered in its original form. $150.

2. 1985 BILL ROBINSON Gray Road jersey #28. Robinson is a 3X World Champion. He was a starting outfielder for the 1979 Pittsburgh Pirates, the hitting coach for the 1986 Mets and a coach and the hitting coach for the 2003 Florida Marlins. This jersey is considered a "phantom" jersey, as it is tagged as a post-season jersey, but the Mets never made the post season. Shows great use; possibly by Robinson at the end of the 1985 season but more probably by minor league Mets teams that it was recycled to. Nameplate was professionally restored. $150.

3. 1983/1984 CALVIN SCHIRALDI Gray Road jersey #40. Shiraldi gained infamy in the 1986 World Series with the Red Sox, but this is one of the earliest jerseys he ever wore in his career, as he was a product of the Mets farm system. The jersey is tagged as a 1983 set 1, but Shiraldi didn't play his first big league game until early 1984. This likely was a 1983 leftover that worn by him in his 1984 rookie season. Nameplate has been removed, but you can still make out the outline of the lettering "SCHIRALDI" from where the nameplate was. $130.

4. 1993 RYAN THOMPSON Gray Road jersey #44. Very sharp 1-year style gray road jersey featuring "New York" logo across the front in script and underlined. Three color twill numbers (blue, orange and white). $110.
