Prova Group tagged items

how reliable is having a Prova Group tagging on a jersey, have there ever been any cases where there was one on a game used item but was questionable?

Very reliable.

The Prova database gets messed up on occassion. But it is pretty reliable as to the jersey coming from the team's lockerroom.
