    Thurman Munson autographed foul ball

I'm a big Yankee collector, and Vintage Authentics has an autographed ball that Thurman Munson hit. Does that add to the value? I want to put a max bid on it since I'll be away when the auction ends, but I don't want to overbid because of what we all know happens then.

I haven't seen the auction lot, but verified game used balls have higher value than the same balls unused. If Munson really hit the ball and this is verifiable, many collectors would put added value.

How the game used wear affects the signature is relevant in the equation, as it is both a game used item and an autographed item.

I can add that, as a collector, I would put added value on a Reggie Jackson or Tom Seaver signed ball if it was game used by them. Though I'd also want a nice clean signature on the ball. I think most collectors would have the same opinion as I.
