Yankees Kevin Brown jersey--Torn up!

I got this great 2004 Kevin Brown jersey from Yankees-Steiner. It has a huge tear in the neck so I am sure there is some great story behind it.

Does anyone know the history of this one?

If that were a home jersey I would imagine that the equipment guy found it on the floor after his 2004 ALCS Game 7 start. As its a road jersey, it must have come after another one of his crappy road starts.
On a side note, I don't think he was invited to anyone's spring training this year

He went 10-6 in 2004 which isn't bad for a low priced pitcher, but certainly wasn't a career year for him.

Only problem with that 10-6 is that he was a long way from being a low-priced pitcher, if memory serves me right he made between $15-$18 million for those 10 wins.
